On October 27th, my best friend Jennifer Paisley turned 30. Since she lives almost 950 miles away, I decided to send her 30 e-mails on her birthday. Some included pictures I took of Colleen "holding" signs for Jen. Here are a few of the good and not so good pictures.

On the Lexington BBQ Festival
It has become a tradition for Tom and I to attend the Lexington BBQ Festival in Lexington, NC. You can read about last year's adventures here. This year, we got to take Colleen to the festival for the first time. It's crowed and hard to get around in the stroller; but the food is amazing and we were able to hang out at our friends' house who lives within walking distance of the festival.
Colleen got tired of being in the stroller, so we took her out for a bit and carried her around. It was about this time that we noticed that her Sophie the Giraffe teether was no longer in the stroller with her. Although one of her favorites, she must have thrown it overboard. Unfortunately, we re-traced our steps, but were unable to find it.
On a Weekend at Williamsburg
Recently, Tom, Colleen, and I packed a bag for the weekend to meet Tom's parents in Williamsburg, VA. We typically go to Williamsburg in the summer, so being there when it wasn't 100 degrees was a nice change.
Of course, my camera's battery died while we were there so I only have a few pictures of the weekend to share!
Waiting for our table.
...watching the fife and drum core march by.
As most weekends do, it went by too fast. Glad for any time though for Colleen to spend time with family!

On Fall Pictures
A few weeks ago, after Tom's 30th birthday party, we took Colleen to a local spot that sells pumpkins, gourds, and mums among other things. They had lots of fun scenery to take pictures and there were many families there doing so. Here are some of the pictures we got.

On Breakfast with Family
The day after Tom's 30th Birthday Party, we went to breakfast at the Farmer's Market before all our family had to travel back home.
On Dad Turning 30
A few months ago, my mom took a ton of pictures of me holding this sign.
We had a lot of Dad's favorite foods.
It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realized why. My dad was turning 30 years old. So, we had a party!
Aunt Christine brought a lot of homemade decorations.
Grandma made banana cake cupcakes-Dad's favorite.
We had a lot of Dad's favorite foods.
We used Nini's Birthday banner to let everyone know where the party was!
Lots of family and friends came to celebrate.
People watched football, played yard games, and built Legos.
It was a fun party. I hope I can see my family and friends again soon!
