On Summer 2012

I know.  I've been terrible about posting lately.  Summer flew by.  And now that school has started, I have been super busy.  Here's a little taste of some of the fun things we did this summer.

On the way from Cincinnati to Cleveland on our Ohio trip, we stopped by to visit some college friends who live in Columbus.  Together, we celebrated the Fourth of July and our kids finally got to meet.

Kim, Don, and Max came over for a visit.

Steve also stopped by to visit on his way back from a Lego Convention in the Mountains.

On their way to the beach, Kim, Jeff, Mya, and Macy stopped by to hang out.  Colleen had a blast playing with the girls!

Colleen scored a table and chairs and a ply kitchen on a trip to Ikea.

I'd say, we had a pretty great summer!

On Ocean Isle Beach with the Rees'

The last week in August, Tom, Colleen, and I went to Ocean Isle Beach to vacation with Tom's brother Jeff and his family and Tom's sister Christine.  Check out some pictures of our trip.

On a Trip to Ohio: Part 2

After we left my parents' house, we headed for Tom's to visit his side of the family.  We started the visit off with a cookout.

 The kids had fun playing in the water table.

We also celebrated some upcoming birthdays with a cookout at Beth and Marty's house.  Steak for dinner.  Yum!

One night, Tom and I went to an Indians game with Jeff and Molly.  We ate dinner downtown and stopped by to see Jeff's store.

Colleen also took her first train ride.  At the Lodi Outlet mall, not far from Tom's house, there is a small train that you can ride around the mall.  Colleen seemed to enjoy it and waved to Grandma and Grandpa as she rode by. Cole especially loved the train.

Colleen also was able to give lots of hugs and kisses!

Another great visit to Ohio!  Looking forward to heading back to Williamsburg in 2013.
